I birthed both my babies at home and my first was documented by a dear friend, my second happened so fast my midwife barely arrived in time. There isn’t a second that I regret having someone capture my first or wishing I could’ve slowed down time enough for someone to do the same for our second— iPhone pics of pure shock for the win haha.

All that to say— I understand the vulnerability and intimacy of birth. Also, because I’m an RN too, there are few things I haven’t seen or witnessed already and I’m familiar with the hospital setting if that’s your desired place of birth. My package offers the flexibility of complete privacy or the option to share your images however you feel comfortable, the choice is always yours. We’ll tailor your birth story to your unique needs and expectations, ensuring the most personal and meaningful experience possible.

As your birth photographer, I’ll be on-call for you 24/7 from 38 to 41 weeks, ready to join you when you move into active labor (roughly about the time when contractions become too strong to talk through). I’ll remain with you throughout your labor and for 1 hour afterward, capturing those sacred first moments of meeting and bonding with your baby.
